Does anyone here use turmeric on a regular basis? I've been reading quite a bit about the research with it lately and it does show some amazing applications and health benefits. Just curious if anyone has any first hand accounts of it's use.

I take it daily, but as a 500 mg capsule (Curcumin). I don't have any health issues, though, so can't confirm any benefits.

I use Tumeric in some of my dishes at least once a week especially in my Stir Fry, but I can't confirm if it indeed has any health benefits. I do know since using it I haven't had any nasty viral or bacterial infections that most get especially during the cold/flu season. Could just be a coincidence.

I put it on my cauliflower steaks - I found a really tasty recipe on Pinterest.

My husband skateboards and sometimes get injured. He bought two expensive bottles and swears it works for stiff muscles and sore joints. He addicted to the turmeric. I'm yet to open my bottle.

I use it regularly as spice. Some people don't like the taste or smell but I do not notice much difference. For example I add it to omelettes. I read some research that pills are less effective than adding it to food. They do not know why yet, but saw statistical differences. It is not absorbed well regardless of wether you take a pill or use it as spice. Adding black pepper increases absorption. Both black pepper and turmeric can interfere with prescription medication so check first. I cannot really say if it helps for sure, but I think it does. As a spice it is relatively cheap and easy to use, so why not.
