I just finished a small gig I was acting as a live model for doctors to practice their ultrasound skills on, which was fascinating! The best part is that I got a free semi-cardiac exam (semi in that they weren't actively looking for anything wrong, but they were observing all the structures against hypothetical situations), and I got many comments the good health of my heart. Considering I just spent a month walking an average of 10 miles a day, I sure hope so! Beyond the reassurance of this, it has inspired me to continue that good health as much as I can. For some reason having that tangible baseline makes it easier to commit to future activity. Like you don't want to lose what ground you gained. Anyway - At the moment I'm feeling excited and positive about exercise and diet and I'll enjoy that for as long as I can.
