Back! I'm done with my holiday hiatus, although I have one more holiday lunch still on the calendar for tomorrow. But I am back to being very careful again, as I really set off the IBS over the holidays and have had several truly miserable days. Actually looking forward to getting back on my diet and exercise routine. Hooray!

Diet Calendar Entry for 09 January 2017:
1493 kcal Fat: 57.07g | Prot: 91.82g | Carb: 161.68g.   Breakfast: Smucker's Natural Creamy Peanut Butter, Cabot Extra Sharp White Cheddar Cheese. Lunch: Quinoa (Cooked), Buckwheat Groats (Cooked, Roasted), Cooked Green Peppers and Onions (Fat Added in Cooking), Wal-Mart Tilapia Fillets. Dinner: Blue Hill Bay ginger infused herring, Spice World Shallots, Nature's Promise Organic Grape Tomatoes, Cream Cheese, Lasco Wild Caught Nova Salmon, Le Pain des Fleurs Buckwheat Crispbread. Snacks/Other: Whole Foods Market Turbinado Raw Sugar, Strawberries, Blueberries, Cheerios, Milk (Nonfat), Valencias California Oranges, Kroger Texas Red Grapefruit, Ghirardelli Dark & Sea Salt Caramel Squares, Van's PB&J Strawberry & Peanut Butter Sandwich Bars, Milk (Nonfat). more...

Welcome back...i was reckless over the holidays... feeling so much better after just one week.

Sarah1950 -- "reckless" -- what an apt description! I'll have to remember that. I would definitely say I was occasionally "reckless" over the holidays, and I have paid dearly for it. Thank goodness I have loving friends and family willing to walk my dogs when I am too sick to be away from the bathroom long enough to take them out! I am back on track (pretty much) as of today. Tomorrow I have one more holiday lunch to manage, and I know I will eat badly, but then truly I am done. Not planning to weigh in again until February 1. It's just too painful. Whatever I weigh on February 1 will be my starting weight for the last phase of the weightloss path. I would really like to be into maintenance by June 1, 2017. I don't think that's too ambitious -- it means 21 pounds in five months. I willing to give it a try!
