Well, it's Sunday. Another challenging day. Growing up we had breakfast, went to church and stopped at the bakery on the way home for treats (if we were good in church - which we were with this promise). I don't go to church anymore, but I still crave that sweet treat after Sunday morning breakfast.

Then to add to that, I'm stressed out, hubbies Mom not well, a co-workers boyfriend passed away this morning. He was so young! Not sick, no real issues, she just woke up this morning and he was gone. I look at my out of shape husband and myself and wonder when it will be our turn. Will we get to retire and have some time to do the things we want to do? My Dad retired, got one check and passed away. I know a very morbid thought, but we've been unhealthy for a very long time. He is my friend, sounding board, tormentor, and I've loved that man a LOT of years. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have him. Okay, having released this, I'm going to clean the bathrooms!! :-)

I hear you about the Sunday treats. When I grew up, on Sundays, for coffee time (4pm) we had cake. The only time in the week we had some since it almost always was home made and mom only had time to bake on Saturdays. A lot of times I feel that way on a Sunday afternoon, I want something sweet. That's when a MIM comes in handy. Some cream cheese on it and I am fine :-) ///As for your toughs about loosing a partner - it is scary and nothing we say or do can take it away. All we can do is live the day, be very conscious about it, and enjoy it.

Make the best of the time you do have here......make every second count as one day there will be no tomorrow. That's the message here. Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, well or unwell. What a coincidence! That's what I need to do next....bathrooms.
