Don't know what is my problem. Having a hard time staying within my 1400 calories. Today was the 1st time this week I was below 1400. Actually was able to add to snacks today; that was encouraging.

Food selection plays a big part, sugary and starchy foods tend to trigger more intense cravings.

Food selection will play a large role in the calories and in how long a meal satisfies. Having some protein with each meal will help. Also, I found that when I added more fruits and vegetables, I ate more food for less calories. It may be possible that 1400 calories is not sufficient for you. I am about the same weight, and my calories to lose weight is closer to 1800. If you eat too little, you will actually slow your weight loss and cause you to crave unhealthy foods. Good luck.
