The holidays are terrible for weight loss! It's so hard to make good choices with so many goodies around. I indulged quite a bit, but it's time to get back on track. One of the things I've learned is that even if you gain or fall off track, as long as you keep going, eventually you'll get there.

I had no idea I'd lose 50 (technically 52) pounds this year. It's been a life changer for sure. Went from obese to overweight and from a size 18 to a 12 (and sometimes 10 now), and I can shop in normal stores now :) It's been a very gradual process which feels a lot better than instant gratification. I can say with confidence now that I'm definetely going to be healthy one day next year, because I've done so much before and my drive hasn't changed, so I know I'm going to do it. No need for resolutions, because everything I need is already here. Here's to the new year :D

So, in the spirit of moving forward, I want to be in the 146's. I want to go to Zumba both days during the week, and I want to go for a walk at least once.
