Marcus Welby's Journal, 03 December 2016

not going to spam this site too much but I generally keep carbs less than 150 grams per day. I have found that helps avoid hunger. you can live forever on 100 grams of carbs per day, lean protein sources, and low calorie veggies. Don't let anyone tell you that you need a higher amount of carbs lol. you don't. I add a couple of fish oil daily but don't count those 20 calories. mg, a couple of calcium tums per day between meals, vitamin D, a C, CoQ10, an aspirin, and a B complex. I am getting plenty of A and additional A may increase the risk of certain types of cancers. a male usually doesn't need iron supplementation and iron does cause cumulative oxidative stress. males just don't need to be adding the iron and vitamin A from a multivitamin. avocadoes, nuts, and 100 percent cacao I often add. I am not that organized yet. for a 54 year old guy with no major health issues that is optimized based on my research. if I were a female on certain contraceptives and/or a smoker I would definitely add the fish oil and aspirin at any age. I feel my opinion is formed based on education (MD) and additional study FWIW. you will see lots of different opinions. I tend to be conservative on the usefulness of most supplements.

Oh and obviously if you are a diabetic on meds or prone to hypoglycemia then it would be foolish to cut out the carbs so drastically. This is for informational purposes only and not intended for advice, diagnosis, or treatment purposes. Please consult your personal physician for advice specific to your situation lol.
