I am feeling better. Kind words of encouragement from FS Buddies is always appreciated. Logged all my food yesterday even though it was not the best day, I ate mindfully and survived dinner with the grand kids...always more carbs around for the little energy burners. We also baked chocolate chip cookies for their daddy's birthday!!! Had some extra help with my dad yesterday morning and actually had then entire day to myself till 2PM! THAT was amazing. This morning I got an email that I got excused from jury duty because of the care giving situation....YEAH! That is a relief!!!! So friends, I am heading out for a much needed walk and get my day on! Have a fantastic Thursday and keep positive!

Nice job eating "mindfully". I use that technique for many things. I love cooking with kids. Have you ever watched Junior Chopped on the food channel? It is amazing that kids have no fear - they just go for it! Have a great day Lulani!

Staying focused when others are not is a serious challenge, but once we get that it becomes easier. It's a must do for the holidays ahead!
