I forced myself to face that dreaded number on the scale. It didn't hurt to see the number as much as it's hurting me to ignore the obvious. I have gained a tremendous amount of weight over the last couple years and it continues to get worse due to my unwillingness to face it and take action. Today is a step forward. I was in your same situation until the dr said I was now diabetic and had high blood pressure. In a matter of 4 years I had managed to gain 58 lbs. My only excuse is me!!! I went thru a bunch of hellacious situations and comforted myself with food!! Wrong!! I went on a "diet" and had list 8 lbs in 2 months. Then I was guided from my dr to a nutritionist, best thing that could have happened to me!!! I am now down the 58 + another 20! It's been a hard 10 months but well worth it. I learned a lot about diet and nutrition. I was always dieting wrong!! Now I eat right!! There is no diet. There us healthy eating though. You can do it. Look at your long term goal We all have the issues. 😀😀

Thanks. I appreciate you sharing your experience and insight. Diabetes and high blood pressure run in my family. It's a real threat for me. I am ready to make the necessary changes... Eat better, move more, and stress less. I learned that in Lindora many years ago. The nutritionist sounds like a great idea. Here I ago...
