Although I weight myself every day.... only Saturday's weight counts. Today is the first time since I've started, that I weighed myself and I'm up a little bit. Going to have to work extra hard this week, because I REALLY want to lose another 1.8 pounds this week so I can break that 25 lb lost milestone. THEN if I have a little raise, I'll be ok.... Not sure why but I've been craving CABBAGE.. of all things.. Last night I cut a head of cabbage and cooked it up an ate it. not the whole head.. lol but maybe 1/3 of it. I could still go for more.. I wonder if I'm lacking a particular mineral or vitamin right now... but.. SOMETHING is surely going on inside here!!

How do you guys prepare your cabbage?

I like to bake all my veggies. I sprinkle some salt, pepper, olive oil and then about 40 minutes at about 450* in the oven. Sometimes I slice the cabbage like a steak, and just roast a slab that way. Last night, I cut it in tiny pieces and just tossed it in the frying pan with some olive oil and water until it was done. Never made it liek that before.... Also, I don't do cigarettes or alcohol. Not even vanilla extract.... **unless it's already been baked off because I'm buying pre-made desserts. I do have a lot of potentially harmful things in my life, but after that last halloween challenge, I've realized not many things I eat are pre-packaged.. so.. I got that going for me :P

Isn't it interesting learning to listen to our bodies? I was craving beans for a week, but resisting. When I finally gave in, I couldn't get enough! Once I did, though, I dropped a half pound, and the craving went away. Weird!

What type of beans? I always crave sweets, chocolate, cookies and late at night of course when it does the most damage. I'm trying hard to break the habit. I wish I craved beans!
