Excited to get my DEXA and update my weight tomorrow!! I am really more about the muscle gain and fat loss and no longer a victim chained to a scale! Body composition is the name of the game!!!!!!!

It was hard to break the chain. I have to wait about 6 weeks between each test. It is an x-ray type machine but very accurate. The body weight is going down but for me the body fat loss/muscle gain is way more important. let's face it muscle takes up less space per lbs and is so much more metabolically active

My goal is to slash my body fat percentage to below 20% by next summer. I still have a long way to go but thank God I am not 310 lbs anymore!!!!!

We have similar goals. I am hoping for 20% or below in 2017 as well. I am about 24% right now but have been stuck - it is hard to build lean muscle and lose fat, too.
