Las Vegas Linda's Journal, 23 October 2016

Definitely NOT a good week. Too much eating out and wrong types of food coupled with way too much Halloween candy tempting me right and left. My will power seems to have deserted me. Way too many frustrations to deal with this week. Knew I'd be paying the piper at weigh-in this week. Not going to beat myself up about it. I'll just get back on the horse and try to do better this week. Hope everyone had a better week than I did.

In answer to Strwbry SC's question, I had gotten off to a really good start and was looking forward to finally being able to have plastic surgery at the end of the road. I had several nice online friends cheering me on. Then the weight loss slowed and instead of taking only 1 year to get to goal, it was 2 years and I was almost, but not quite there. That made the thought of surgery even harder. Then my very best online friend stopped contacting me along with several others and I started to wonder why I was even bothering with all this. When those doubts crept in, I started having hit and miss results, one good week, one bad one. My weight started yo-yoing again and it was like i was standing in place. Haven't been able to get back on track since.

Perhaps you have "all or nothing" thinking - you are either on or off a nutrition program. Integrate positive changes in to your daily life and see what happens. Good Luck!

It is definitely mental as well as physical. Hard to keep your focus when things get rocky. Time to refocus.
