Getting ready to take a trip to Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention. My nephew is receiving his American Farmer award. This is a huge deal!! I am the designated driver as I don't mind driving in the city and his dad recently had back surgery and should be doing the driving. Actually he shouldn't be making the trip, but as I stated earlier, this is a huge deal. I am looking forward to getting some exercise in the hotel pool. Sure hope it's inside or I'm out of luck. Looking forward to this family time as we travel, my sister is going also, so it's the 3 of us. Send up a little prayer for safe travels for our little group. I am a little worried about navigating the restaurants but I've done it lots of times. Don't know why I fret so much about it.

You're coming to my turf! If you're parked at the convention center you're within a few blocks of tons of restaurants. You can walk easily.

The event was at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Colts! Parking is a challenge! But we got lucky and found a spot that was reasonably close. Still lots of walking which was good as there was no time for swimming. Never got my suit wet. Managed my meals just fine. I will weigh in tomorrow.
