Starting Day 3 of my HCG diet and VLCD. Scared!!!
219.2 lb Lost so far: 40.8 lb.    Still to go: 44.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It is scary to feel like your body is out of control. If the HCG doesn't work, you might try the technique that worked for me (I started about where you're at right now). I followed the Paleolithic diet and counted calories/ controlled portions. The nice thing about the Paleolithic diet is that it's a very healthy diet for the whole family. I only say this be cause I've had a few friends try the HCG regimen, and they lost weight very quickly - but they gained it all back, and more.

I just completed my second round of the HCG diet and let me tell you, it works! I've lost a total of 40 lbs and have been maintaining very well!! I am so thankful I found out about this diet! I love it!!

If I can lose 50 pounds by May I'll be a happy girl!! Its going to be extremely difficult because I have 3 boys and a husband I have to cook for. The temptations will be crazy but I think my will power is strong enough to stick to what I'm allowed. LOLA6 - Any advice or things I should expect with the diet?? Runesinger - I'm interested in this Paleolithic diet youre talking about. DO you have recipes on your page? I'd like to try it out when I hit my goals and can move up to the maintenance phase.
