Down 6.2 pounds from my original weigh-in with WW last week.

S.M.A.R.T.

This is what the weekly meeting was about at WW.
It felt both good and bad... Good because it made me see that there is no way I'm going to hit my goal in a year.. Bad because it made me realize there is no way I'm going to hit my goal in a year..

SMART

Specific - Details!! Why am I losing weight? To fit into smaller clothes.. To be able to have a lighter load while I'm running??

Measurable - By Miles or minutes or pounds or sizes, MEASURE and stick to it.

Attainable - So, is fitting into smaller clothes attainable? Of course it is. Will I ever be a size 2... no... but I can get pretty close...

Realistic - I wanted to be half my size in a year.. This.. is not realistic.. I have to set realistic goals for myself..

Time -- So I now accept the fact that it will probably take me slightly over two years to do this in a nice healthy way.. I'm going to set the calendar.. and make a plan for that month....


And here we go :)

You can do this! I am finding that if I try not to think about how long it is going to take me, but to look at what I have done to date, it makes it easier on my psyche lol. Great start Pickles!!
