Got my entry in with my story I am nervous because I still have a long road ahead but it felt good to move in the direction of my goals



My journey actually started in 1998 when I weight in at 310 lbs. After recovering from major surgery In August of 2015 I discovered the Transformation Makeover Division of WBFF. I had already lost over 102 lb but being a goal oriented person this was just the push I needed. I started working hard but carefully and then roadblock. I had a major flare up of my arthritis and was told I needed knee replacement surgery. We took a conservative non-surgical approach for this and and also my moderate scoliosis. I started a modified program in April Since last summer I have lost 27 lbs - Since my new program I have dropped 15.4 lbs of fat, gained almost 6 lbs of muscle and over 16 inches gone on the tape measure. This is a total weight loss of 135 lbs I can't wait to see what the future holds having just turned 55 years young. I am now working as a certified personal trainer. While preparing for Oklahoma I also completed my Precision Nutrition level 1 certification and look forward to helping other start transforming their lives and lifestyles as I continue to work on my own journey. I want to prove that age, arthritis, scoliosis etc cannot stop you when you have a goal, a vision and determination!
