Okay so I've been slacking... finally recorded food intake today! I figured out I have to stick with recording the food I eat from 0001 (12:01) AM on a specific day to 2359 (1159) PM that same day - NO MATTER if I am working overnight that night! Otherwise I won't keep up with it. It's a lot easier to remember & record my food when I get home if I only have to remember after midnight. Still working on a seamless way to record what I eat for my before-work meal though.

I have not been keeping up with the exercise recording part of this page because frankly I do not like it. I'm sure it will just take getting used to... but it's definitely going to take a while because it's always confusing for me. For instance if I want to record Irish dance, I have to enter it as square dancing (we do set dances, so that's the next best way of describing it). Also, the defaults are ANNOYING AS HELL!!!! I do not want sleeping to be on there as a default. I just want to accurately enter any physical activity I do & figure out if I burned any calories. The current way of doing this seems WAY over-complicated & is so frustrating. So I don't use it right now. But maybe I will if I can ever get the hang of it..

I have been slacking on taking the stairs! I am working on getting to work earlier so I will have time to use the stairs.

I have been avoiding McDonald's at work fairly well... had some issues last week or two but getting back on track. Any more, I usually just get a grilled chicken patty, salad (if I didn't bring one), & maybe coffee. I should just bring my own coffee, but again that's a time/equipment (no coffee maker other than my hands & the microwave!) issue. All that said... avoiding fast food AFTER work/on the way home from work is a different story. Last week was particularly difficult due to rough nights at work. To get myself on a healthier path, I have oatmeal & eggs at home - just have to talk myself into being willing to fix them for myself on the way home!

I have not been making it to Tuesday Irish dance as often as I need/would like to get there. I have been getting to Saturday dance practice consistently. I am hoping to eventually be able to drive myself to both... currently my husband drives me there & back. I would also love to be able to take a yoga class on my own!
