I noticed the recomended daily allowance of calories is not dynamic. as I loose weight it stays the same.
185.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 15.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Mine has moved a little. At 271, it was 2500. Now I'm 215 and it's 2200. Either way, I set it at 1800 to track a deficit. It came down in increments of 100 over time but I'm not sure how much weight loss triggered it.

When I was losing down from 262 lbs, I recalculated my calorie needs after every 5 lbs lost (using tools referenced in my profile). I then updated my RDI to reflect the desired cals per day to give me a 20% calorie deficit, assuming ZERO exercise. If I did exercise and burned 200 calories, that was 200 calories I could eat above my RDI and still get results.
