So far low carb diet is performing magnificently. Why didn't I go with it from the beginning. I might have been finished long ago :( Anyway that's spilled milk lol. Just staying on it week by week. Have started to figure out what I can eat a little better. Have been eating mostly meat and cheese but definitely need more veggies and I miss my fruit terribly. Just happy to be back on track. Still have 26 pounds to go to get back where I was. Hope everyone is doing well.

I love canned green beans, French style. They are ready in a couple of minutes when warmed on the stovetop. So they are there to offset my desire for the wrong food.

Thank you all for the support. It means a lot. I am truly hoping I can continue at this rate of loss with low carb, but am not counting on it. That way I won't be disappointed. As long as the scale keeps going down from this point on I'll be happy although it would be so wonderful to meet my goal by Thanksgiving. Would truly be something to be thankful for even though it is my surgery goal and not my final weight goal. If not approved for surgery, there will be an additional 35 pounds to lose. Will worry about it at the appropriate time. Already planning how to keep up my activity levels once I don't have access to our pool. I am so determined to be starting a maintenance program by the 1st of the year.
