Do any of you enjoy watching for Food Network?
I LOVE this station (probably what got me into trouble in the first place), but I still LOVE the Barefoot Contessa, and Rachel Ray, Hungry Girl, the Neelys, Marcela, and Sandra Lee.

I am wondering if it is a good idea to skip these shows at night (which is the only time I watch TV), because it may be causing my night time snacking.

What about all of you out there that have had success losing weight. Are you watching cooking shows?

No TV reception at my house so NO ... I don't watch them. BUT ... when I do love the Diners, Dives, and Drive-Thrus show when I do get a chance to be around cable TV.

I love Food Network. Mostly Chopped, triple D & Restaurant Impossible. It can DEFINITELY make me feel snacky, typically only if I haven't eaten properly throughout the day though. I prefer to eat more at night vs. earlier in the day so I try to save the bulk of my calories for evening. By the time I go to bed & turn on Food Network I've already eaten or am having my bedtime snack. If your goal is to stop night time snacking, then you may need to limit food shows. Personally I try not to fight my natural tendencies & work around them instead. No harm in eating before bed.

I love Rachel Ray and The Chew, here they are on in the morning, so I watch them then, I know most people work and can't watch, but that is my trick, or record them and watch at dinner time.:-)
