I did the same thing - almost a year I ignored FS and truly counting calories (I thought I was but you know how that goes!). Had lost 40 lbs and found 22! But I'm back on track and learned by lesson. And mine was just pure laziness ... Congrats on the Baby!!!

@tuplip, my plan is to eat clean. That means something different to everyone, i know. For me, its whole, real foods. Minimizing prepared foods/sauces etc, very few pasta, rices and starchy veggies like corn, peas, potatoes. NO "low fat", eat real fats like avocado, real butter, EVOO. Low/no added sugar. EAT lots of fruits and veggies. Measure/weigh food to ensure portion control (I'm terrible at that!) OH, and exercise - this proves to be incredibly challenging even though I'm still on maternity leave. I'm working on developing a plan for when I go back to work. my waist is the smallest part of my midsection, just below my bra line. my tummy is the widest part of my stomach. I have an apple body type. So my weight tends to collect around my midsection, vs the pear body type that is more bottom heavy. Bc of this, I don't typically keep my hip measurement and monitor my "tummy" instead. (tummy just sounds better than gut) I now have 2 girls :) I'm one happy momma. I definitely ride the roller coaster myself. I have a hard to with long-term follow through, so I empathize when you say you've gotten distracted. Good luck tightening back up. You can always reach out to me for accountability if you'd like. I know it always helps to have a buddy!
