January 2nd, 2016 RMR test results:
289 LBs 1987 calories per day. (25% lower than average for sex, height, weight, and age)
June 26th, 2016 RMR test results:
234 LBs 1917 calories per day. (17% lower than average for sex, height, weight, and age)
When you consider that is a 55 pound reduction, a 70 calorie reduction in RMR is not significant.
I'm hopeful to increase that over time, but I'm still focusing on losing weight first. I'll continue with the exercises in an attempt to increase fitness and possibly muscle mass, but that is secondary until I reach 200lbs. I'll switch gears to gaining muscle mass at that point. I'll probably get another RMR test done to see where I am at so I can make sure I set my calorie intake properly.
