I was awakened at 4 a.m. by the dog - it sounded like she was having a nightmare, so I woke her up and comforted her. She lost an owner three years ago and then was brought to the pound for a month until I rescued her... she is fine - snoozing away right now. Don't feed dogs KFC! She hasn't wanted her treats much since... she likes ham too a lot. I do spoil the dog a bit. Anyway, she is back asleep and I am up. Cold and rainy out, I will likely stay in today. I plan to do lots of writing today of the western and hopefully within days finish up the book. Have a good day all... Dieting going well by the way, I am eating more fruit than beginning phases of Atkins, so I guess I am doing OWL and will lose more slowly, but in what I would consider a more healthy manner...

So sweet that your dog has a nice home. But they are all different. When mine has nightmares and I awaken him he tries to bite me. Must be mine is fighting in his nightmares.

Hi Buffy - this is the first time she had one since I've had her - sure I've heard barking, etc. but this time she sounded frightened. I am not too thrilled I was up so early so may go back to bed in a little while, it is too cold, wet and rainy to do much today in all likelihood... have a good Thursday...

Awww bless her heart...they sound so pitifull when they are scared while dreaming...I am so glad you saved her Glenn, I know she has paid

Thanks Bren - I need more sleep, I have a bit of a migraine, nothing bad - but it will help for me to get some more sleep. She was a neighbor's dog but I did not know him well, so I don't know all the words Toto might know. If I'm outside at a street crossing and yell, "Run!" she does. I am lucky to have this dog and she barks if someone is at the door so there isn't likely to be a burglary...

Went to a Veteran's Meeting this evening. The woman speaking was great, a drunk was there to interrupt repeatedly, while a non-vet groaned. Another fool insisted the Confederates were vets - yeah, but not for the USA... no common sense. Anyway, Ellenor's presentation was great and made up for the nitwits there... had a water - got offered Diet Coke and of course I am still off of it... I am very tired. I got some sci-fi research done, do I ever have the imagination. All great ideas come when one is alone - with the power of God assisting them, a world-renowned scientist from 100 years ago said that and it is true of writing too. Dieting going well... have a good evening all...
