Renee N's Journal, 22 June 2016

This was a hate week for me. Was happy to see a loss. Felt Hungary this week for some reason. Need to cut back on meat. Made a great turkey chili with beans this week. Having problems with portions. Wanted to eat all of the hili. Portioned it out and froze it so I wouldn't be tempted. Bought a box of skinny cow ice cream sandwiches. Had one, it tasted so so cold and creamy good. Will try to do better this week. On my way to Cleveland to visit my daughter who will be there for a week. This could be tricky.

Turkey chili sounds great! Way to portion it out--very smart! Any reason you need to cut back on meat?

I feel like the meat takes up a tremendous amount of calories. I know it keeps us full longer, I suppose I could just cut back on the portions. I'm finding if I eat 5 mini meals rather than 3 meals I feel more satisfied.
