So Im logging a huge loss but I want to go on record, I did not lose 12 lbs.. 10 of those were bc of some meds I was on and now im off the weight dropped off so I really lost 2lbs which is just fine in my book. I feel good. I feel lean and strong. Im still pretty heavy but I come to realize that's just gonna come with the territory of lifting weights. The HIIT is really making a huge difference though and I think Im changing my long term goal from 150 to 170. I think thats more realistic right now since Im aiming to lift heavy. Right now Im working on the next 10 lbs.. I had a good week last week diet wise and need to stick with that momentum. I didnt even cheat on movie night which is huge.. Just need to stay with it and get back on track to where I was before the holidays bc I feel like I never recovered from that then I had my injuries so its been a struggle this year for the most part. Anyway, Lets make today an awesome day !!!
193.0 lb Lost so far: 113.0 lb.    Still to go: 43.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hey, anyway you look at it, congratulations on that loss. Just, like you say, keep up the consistent diet, and you will be continuing the progress. Congrats again!

Wow, you did great! Congratulations. I will ask you a question in case you can answer since you are lifting weights. I have all this arm flab after losing some weight & wonder what or if I can get rid of it. I had shoulder surgery so have some trouble with how high I can lift that arm. There are machines at the health club & I guess I could ask them, but they never seem to be around.

LOL! Maybe we need to Pin the BatWing post to the top! Deanna, that is the question all of us are anxious to have answered, we are waiting on results. I'm 51, I don't know if my skin has enough elasticity left in it to spring back, but doing dumbbell workouts in the hope that they do!

ok so to answer the bat wing question.. Ive been losing weight since July 2014 and actively using weight since Aug 2015. Yes the batwing gets better but it takes LOTS of work.Mine looked like my grandma's and I still have what I consider a "wing" BUT its gotten so much better with weights. And you cant just work triceps. You have to work all your all arm muscles so triceps, biceps and shoulders. And I use a "firming" creme by Nivea which Im sure makes no difference but I like to pretend it does. And LOTS AND LOTS and water will help the skin elasticity. Deanna , google exercises, thats how I learned. And making friends at the gym.. Debra, you can bounce back, you just have to work hard. And let me go on record to say, that even though Ive been lifting a while, I am no where near "built" like a body builder. Lifting has helped me tone up since I lost 100lbs but has also helped my confidence on so many levels.. Yes, I def want to lift heavy and look more muscular but Im not there yet.. Some where on my journals I think there was huge bat wing conversation. Feel free to look it up, Im sure there was a side boob one.. LOL
