Well, that damn plan didn't work. I can eat good, and still put on weight. The scale went the exact opposite way I thought it would. I would say it borders on depressing, but it doesn't does border, it's full-on depressing. All the stupid medicine from my car accident almost 8 months ago, and all the mental side effects from the severe concussion, severe Whiplash, shoulder problems, hip problems is taking its toll on me
163.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 23.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

If possible it's always best to get off the meds as soon as you safely can. Have you seen a physical therapist or chiropractor? They may be able to help you reach your goal. In the meantime, hang in there.

I was in physical therapy for 5 months. I was treated like a stroke victim for the first month or so. I still have major issues that continue to linger. One of my meds is to help reduce the pain receptors in my brain from being on prescription pain meds for 7 months. I have PTSD, balance problems, when I get tired in the evening, I have a hard time talking, I keep loosing my words I want to say. My right eye is unable to be fixed. It will just go off to the right when it wants to, if I look at small print or small pics, because of my right eye, it will shake, making it impossible to read. All from a my car accident 7.5 months ago. I used to be able to hold a 40 pund bag of dog food on my shoulder and another in my arms. Now, I can't pick 1 36 pound bag off the shelf and put it in my cart. Life is very rough right now. I'm trying to be patient, but it's getting harder and harder.

I understand. Accident prone as I am, it was not much a bother in my 20s and 30s but as time marches on, you will FIND IT JUST TAKES LONGER FOR THE HEALING PROCESS. I have learned to be more patient and kind to myself and help the healing process the best I can. I also know from experience that many of the pain meds will knock your metabolism right into the ground. Extremely difficult to be on any dieting program. What I could do, was to work on my eating habits and foods sot that when I was off meds and could get my metabolism kick-started again, I was going to hit the ground running.
