Day 17 - I'm getting rather discouraged. I'm working out for at least 40 mins every other day and mostly keeping under the 2000 calorie count, with not much progress. I need to change things. Protein shakes have worked for me in my 30's. I hope they can jump start my weight loss in my 50's. I also need to turn down eating out and eating outside my preselected meal plan. more water too.

It says you dropped about 3 pounds in a week. That is wonderful progress! Sounds like you are doing great. As you lose weight, you may need to cut calories to keep losing. So it's great that you can eat 2000 and lose 3 pounds in a week. Great job!
