Why is healthcare too expensive for most? Well, first there is the profit motive, and then there is spending 100's of thousands to give people at end of life, a few more months to live. I also thought it interesting, that driving by Planned Parenthood, it's all MEN picketing to take WOMEN's rights away. Huh! Gotta love them! You hear victims of Colorado shooting, suing Planned Parenthood? Who started all this crap? Have a wonderful day! I can't be sure, but I think the men picketing are probably the ones who got someone pregnant and had no say in whether they get an abortion or not... when they would have taken care of the child (or so they believe.. more than likely they were young when it happened and 'mom and dad' would have raised the child.
Anyway, I still think there are too many people wanting to tell others how to live their lives. I say "Live and let Live"

There appears to be a big disconnect between Dr's and reality when it comes to costs. Since I'm now seeing my deductible cover the first 3k of bills I am astonished what everything costs. What's worse is when I ask my healthcare provider to tell me what it cost, they can't or maybe won't. I have to deal with billing after my insurance. It's at the point now where I'm dreading the bills coming in. If I go into any store I see price tags, when I go to physical therapy they tell me to ask billing.
