R2P2 - VLCD #11
Yesterday I bought another package of Ketostix, thinking that the one that I had was off, not 100% sure of course.
This morning I see only very very small of ketosis and wondering if this could be the reason why I'm having so many cravings this time around.
I think only about food all day...like when I had my eting disorder and I know this is bad because as soon as my diet ends I'll go back eating no stop...regaining everything I lost with so many sacrifices.
I think I'm not in ketosis yet because of my many coffee with cream & almond milk, there's sugar in it anyway and anything that I exceed in quantity will trow me out of ketosis.
I hope I can be strong today and substitute all (or almost) my coffees with teas...
Oh well...dieting sucks let's face it, it's not just the food restriction but there's a huge psychological aspect not irrelevant at all during the whole process
132.9 lb Lost so far: 3.5 lb.    Still to go: 17.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 18 May 2016:
1475 kcal Activities & Exercise: Resting - 17 hours, Sleeping - 7 hours. more...
losing 1.5 lb a week

I'm following a very low fat low carbs diet with HCG injections, I guess the dosage is not correct of my injections because I'm always starving :(

Mine is not a DIY diet, I'm on HCG Diet (Dr. Simeons protocol) - very well known around the world. It uses HCG injections on a low carb - low fat 500 Calories diet acting on protein deficiency to release stored fat, that's why I'm complaining of my Ketones, I might need to adjust my dosage. Thanks for everyone support! :)

I don't know a lot about the HCG diet but my understanding is it is very hard to not gain the weight back after 8 weeks or so at 500 calories a day. Eventually you start to eat again. Some people have a hard time getting in ketosis unless they are under 20 carbs. Are the injections supposed to keep you from being hungry? Is that what they are for? I had a terrible problem with hunger until I went LCHF. For me hunger=eat eat eat! Also, if you search on here HCG it will show people on similar diet. I'm always interested in other people's experiences! Thanks!

Try not to think of it as a diet, but as a lifestyle change. Good luck hope you get where you want to be.

I never had problems on maintaining my weight after an HCG round, it is supposed to reset your metabolism, that's why it should be easier. HCG releases that stubborn stored fat that everyone has hard time to lose, it compensate on the daily calories. Normal fat is regained after a diet, there are proves for that, cells are still in the body...although empty, so ready to be filled again! Anyhow, it's a complicated diet but dosage is key, if it's off...I'm starving :-(
