Hang in there Kitten! You just have to find the right plan that works for you. If "this diet" is making you miserable, then it might not be the right one. There are so many different 'diet plans' out there and different people have success with each of them, while others have no success with them. I actually just switched up my whole plan at the end of last week and started Low Carb High Fat. Before that I was doing a pretty low fat diet for a couple weeks and actually gained 6 pounds and was hungry all the time. For me personally, low carb is the way to go...my body is responding well to it. Listen to your body, do some research online or here on the board and you'll find something that is just right for you! You can do this!!

Laura said some good stuff there...dont be discouraged, my mother always said just about any diet works, you just have to stick to it longer then a week! I think what most folks agree on is that were trying to find that WOE- way of eating- that they will make their life, no more yo-yo-ing. Personally I am so tired of researching and starting one diet after another and never finishing them...I have never made it all the way down to my goal weight. I think I've got it this time. You know, If I don't do well today, it will still be there for me tomorrow, it's my choice... when I want to deal with it! Feel better, get a good nights rest and kick it tomorrow :)

I am not sure which diet you are following but why don't you just count calories? That's what I am doing this time along with exercise. That's what I did last time. Originally I did South Beach but basically to maintain in the long run you have to be able to know what to eat for yourself. I find with counting calories I can eat healthy and also have those snacks I crave. You should not have to deal with feelings of hunger.

OMG Kitten how are you NOT starving? I just checked your food journal. Forgive me for being nosey but I was curious about your diet. NEWP!!!! Couldn't do it. Too much carbs, NO fat. NO WONDER your starving. You may consider going LCHF. Several of us are having VERY good experiences with it. And its NOT unsafe as many would have you believe. Try it for a month. I bet you wont regret it.

I'm usually starving when I diet and give up. I do LCHF (except today, I cheated big) but overall it's a plan I can stick to, it's a free plan too- FREE!!!
