Ok I know that it is 'no big deal'- but I have a heart Catheterization schedule this Friday... yeah, even though it is no big deal.. anything to do with my heart, well I am getting kind of nervous about!
I know that in the future I will have to face surgery to replace a valve and repair an aorta anuerusem -- if I am kind of nervous now.. I do not know what I will be like at that time..geez...
Had a "first person" dream last night, that my wife said I had enough of your health problems (In real life, she will never say that-- we were married 20 years-- divorced for four-- she asked forgiveness <not thinking that we would get remarried again> and about two months later we were remarried in 2004)... Hate those kind of dreams...
ugh...

It's never fun having a heart catheterization. I've had 4 of them though so can speak from experience, it's not bad. Worst part for me was having to lay flat on my back afterwards to give the groin artery time to close up. If they go through your wrist you won't have that to deal with. Hang in there, saying a prayer for you.

Prayers that all goes well! I also think anything to do with the heart IS a big deal, and being edgy about it is normal. I will not say "don't worry about it," but I will say "take comfort in knowing that this has become a pretty common procedure and the doctors have lots of experience.
