Got up at noon today, which seems bad, but I believe my body is trying to recover from the last 2 weeks of less-than-enough sleep. The transferred pain from my tooth -- a frighteningly intense head- and eye socket-ache -- went away as I was sleeping, which I'd hoped it would when I went to bed. Yay!


Walgreen's had introduced their store brand Coconut Oil with a BOGO sale on it. It's unrefined and virgin oil: woo hooooooooooooo! They're my new go-to place for Coconut Oil for sure! Decided to get the oil so that I can try this Turmeric-Coconut Oil toothpaste since I read, from several sources, that this combo will remove stains from teeth, and the only Coconut Oil I had on hand is the refined stuff that I use for cooking.


Put what was left in the boxes of Chai and Mango Black Tea bags in the area of my building that is assumed to have the(invisible) sign reading "Free, Please Take." Drinking all that tea without any milk has stained them a bit. Not a lot, but noticeable nonetheless, and I have another dental appointment next Thursday. Don't need the tea anyway. I was drinking it to use it up -- silly me -- but if it's going to stain my teeth it's not worth it. Besides, the Turmeric Latte tastes much better while not leaving a mark on my lowers. Which is weird because Turmeric is a dyestuff, but apparently it binds to the tannins in the stains and then gets rinsed(and rinsed and rinsed) out after sitting for 3-5 minutes. After that, the Coconut Oil is used for brushing again. This "test" is going to be verrrrrry interrrrrresting (an old Laugh-In running gag).
