About to make it through my birthday weekend WITHOUT cake. I'm pretty proud of myself. I even have chocolate covered almonds that I have virtually no interest in.

I miss my late night snack, however. Something so comforting about eating something yummy a little bit before bed. I grab a couple garlic stuffed green olives and that seems to satisfy me pretty well.

It's raining today and I have a very pouty puppy. Hopefully there is a break in the rain and we can go for a walk. When I lose more weight, it might be time to invest in a raincoat (that fits) for myself and possibly one for him, too.

Planted some new seeds in my hydroponic garden. Organic non-gmo sweet basil, cilantro and parsley are on their way. I just love seeing them sprout up and using them for cooking. Through the winter I had dill and parsley. I'd love to maybe get a dwarf lemon tree in the future, but I don't have the greenest thumb. ;)

well happy late birthday..its the pits when the weather keeps you in..investing in a rain coat sounds like a great idea to keep on track of getting the exercise..have a great rest of the day
