So Houston and surrounding counties had terrible flooding last week, this week it was terrible thunderstorms and the ground was so wet trees fell and destroyed homes, cars and power lines. My neighborhood got is so bad. Trees everywhere on every street. The massive tree in my yard went too taking out the 3 sets of powerlines and my new car. Thank God it went down that way . If it would of fell on the house my daughters bedrooms are 7 ft away from the tree. It would of crushed them. So when you have no power and no way out and you just went grocery shopping and your stressed as hell. I found myself eating food so it wouldnt go bad, I mean I just bought it the day before. I stopped myself, but when my husband came back from out of town he brought me some beer and there was no saying No I needed a few beers after all that. Here we go again though. Thunder Storms and Flash flooding coming back through tonight through the weekend. Wish me luck I am actually pretty terrified I have another massive pine right by my sons room
