Kppgreen's Journal, 28 April 2016

Moment of weakness today was when a three year old offered me a brownie he (& his mom) made for me in honor or administrative professionals day (actually yesterday, but they brought brownies today). I just didn't have the heart to tell him I wasn't going to eat his brownies. I allowed myself one. The whole time thinking about my insulin spike and my hunger pangs remind me of the brownie even hours later.

The funny thing is that his mom assured me they were organic brownies. Don't people realize that organic junk food is still junk food? Oh, well. It was thoughtful and the three year old boy was hard to turn down. :)

Aw that was such a nice gesture to accept the brownie. I would accept and keep it instead of eating it. And maybe give it away later to someone who would eat it? How true about organic junk still being junk!
