Wow, 17.36 nc from veggies today. I put them all in my snacks so I could see them without the other carbs even though the only other carb was one serving of ranch dressing but still. I guess I got my veggies in today :)

I'm trying to kick those germs in the butt, I think I need to find or create some really yummy soups... I didn't really think of the veggies in snacks thing before cuz it kinda goes against my organization obsession but at the same time counting them alone is much easier that way. I guess I will see if I can tolerate them being separated like that.

Hey Missy - hope you feel better soon! Chicken broth w/ veggies... that will cure everything. :) My OCD and I have a bit of a tough time with the veggies in the snacks too - but it makes it so much easier. It's funny I'm actually not morally opposed to the veggies all residing together, the part I disklike is having to then put my snacks in with my meals!

Good job!! Thats what I have been doing also. I find it really hard to eat that many veggies, I normally get between 8 to 10 net carbs of veggies daliy, but it seems to work for me.

Grouping the veggies together to see your carbs is a good idea!

I'm not really opposed to putting them together either it's the fact of having my meal look like I haven't ate any veggies at all lol. So like for breakfast yesterday it just looked like I ate olive oil. Counting is way easier this way I just have to get over what my day looks like when it's done lol.

I'm like you - like my food diary to show my meals all together as I've eaten them. Plus I do like to go back and see what I've actually eaten for snacks.

Buffy-I don't really eat snacks so that part isn't that big of a deal but trying to see if I was getting my veggies in with all those little partial carbs from the other things I have eaten was getting hard to count up. I know I haven't been meeting my carb requirements...besides yesterday lol

Buffy-To tell you the truth I think it was getting sick and extra PMS that helped me these last 2 weeks lol I'll probably stay for a while or something like I seem to do every so often. I should hear about my labs today for my thyroid and iron.
