I remember: the last time I had protruding hip bones, I was 5 months pregnant with my first daughter, 19 years ago. I remember thinking: "my life will never be the same again" as I realized I'd start "showing" soon.
Here we are, so far from that moment and no, my life was never the same after that day! Still about 40 pounds away from that moment - hopefully heading there again, too!
My scale is winging its way to me (thanks internet!) and we will see what the last 34 days have gotten us! Eating habits are all over the place, and I have been having full days and low-cal days - I did try on some pants this morning that were straight out of the dryer and the mid-size that I have: they fit! And no pant-wrestling, if you know what I mean, I had to put on a belt so I can be reassured that they will stay up. Could be a great sign!
Have a GREAT Friday everybody!

Hmmmm...I have reached my goal weight and still don't have protruding hip bones. It's funny, but I kind of oddly LIKE having a bit of "jelly" to my tummy area, too. I carried my two boys in that tummy, so it's kind of my badge of honor. I will never do sit-ups for that reason! (yes, I am weird) LOL

You will get there. Keep plugging away. Am I to understand you bought a scale off the internet? Good job with the pants too!

My hipbones protrude if I am lying on my back!! LOL!!! It is the only time my stomach is flat ... well okay it is squishy but it looks flat!! That's what 50+ years of up and down weight will get you!! But it is all mine!!! At least now I can feel those hip bones ... never could before!!

I'm so proud of you Abba! Times have been challenging, but you are keeping strong. What is helping you through it all? Keep up the GREAT work!!! :)

Twighlightmom I feel that way too! I love my body because of its "battle scars. And Moose! Me too! Hip bones when lying down! And Abba I know too well about "pants wrestling." I admit I keep a couple pairs of pants in one size up so when I have water retention there is no WWF Pants Event at my house. :)

Yes. It's all "sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" at my house too. The Size 16, 14, and 12 pants all traveled to the Good Will bin! The ONLY size left in my closet is a Size 10. Having to put on those TIGHT Size 10's REALLY motivates me. I wouldn't know a protuding hip bone on my body if it jumped upand bit me in the face! I lose weight in my arms, face, neck, and scalp! He-he-he-he-he-he-he!
