Good morning, healthy people!
Thanks to the encouragement (and guilt trips) from my buddies, I was well-behaved yesterday. I took the Halloween candy that was still around to work and stuck to the healthy snacks I had packed.
I had my exercise class and picked up a couple things at the grocery store after art class. Today is the running group. We're doing a timed mile on the track to see if our time has improved from the begining of the session.
Sorry '08, no long philosophical journal today. Lots to do, not enough time! Someday... besides, I haven't been the best role model lately.
Have a wonderful day full of healthy eating choices, joyful movement, gratitude and FUN!

That was a good idea to bring that candy to work. Good way to get rid of it. They are always eating where I work. Have fun running tonight and good job getting back on track! Have a great day!

I agree with cathy.... and you are a role model... you are just being honest about the struggles to get to our goals... it is good to know that we all reach the same hump in the road and have to get over it... thanks for sharing, even when times are tough... take care and have a great day...

YAY for getting rid of the Halloween candy! Best thing you can do for yourself, Girlfriend. Can't wait to hear how much your running has improved as I'm SURE it has. :) I totally disagree with you on one thing though.....you ARE ALWAYS a wonderful role model!!! You have shown us how it can be done, and you have also shown us that once we get there (or get close) we still have to be careful. It doesn't get easy breezy, right? Have a great day my friend.

I'm so proud of you for getting rid of that candy. I have to force myself to do the same when I bake, otherwise I will take some. It helps if I put it somewhere where I can easily forget about it though. Out of sight, out of mind! And no matter what you think, you are definitely a role model to so many of us here. Don't ever forget that.

I have a new rule that if I bake, my husband has to take most of the cookies to work or else I will eat them ALL. With the Halloween candy, I told him he had a day to eat, hide or throw it away or else I was going to huck it. Maybe some day I'll have the willpower to avoid it but not now.
