FINALLY back on track! Yesterday I started induction and went back to the gym and got my regular schedule back on!! THIS TIME I MEAN BUSINESS!!
Starting weight after my Chicago trip and almost 2 months of no workout, and completely letting myself go: 145.6 (but feels like it's in the 50s!

Muscle seems to have turned to rolls of fat, my face is all bloated, and working out was so slow yesterday..I feel like i'm back at sqare one!I hate this feeling of seeing myself go like this...all the hard work of 2 years slowly creeping away...can't let that happen!! Two months of parties, wines, carbs, desserts, chips and snakcs, pizza, chinese food, late night meals, and just-n0-monitoring-of-any-sort has wrecked havoc on my body! And I finally realize this madness has to stop!!!

My friend and I have renewed our commitment and are starting afresh on the path of healthy living...FOR LIFE! For now, it's a strict month of induction and carbs-watch and workign out, despite my three big upcoming trips to NYC, Philly, and New Orleans...I am going to have to show supreme resistance and push myself to new levels! I am really blssed to have her support and role model...and this time around not only do i want to lose all this weight, but really learn self-discipline and develop a dislike for the unhealthy, out-of-control way of life...!! So, finally, this will be 09willbefine!!!!!

Gym: 10 mins on crosstrainer, 45 mins class of 20/20/20, 15 mins of abs class, 30 mins on treadmill (mostly walking, and 2 mins of jogs three times), and weights (bicep curls, shoulders front and sides, tricep raises). Total 3 hrs

Diet: 9 carbs (coffee with cream, tofu stir fry, and soy milk and whey protein, string cheese).

Wednesday: 141.4 (weight dropped dramatically by 4 pds this morning!)
Diet: coffee with cream (0c), tofu stir fry (6c), egg omelet with 2 eggs (2c), 2 veggie links (1c), mushrooms and bowl of broccoli, 1 string cheese (0c), 1 cup soy milk (2c) with 1/2 scoop whey protein (1.5 c). Total: 12.5 carbs

Exercise: Upper body strength training class (45 mins), abs class (15 mins), Zumba class (1 h), treadmill on high incline (15 mins), bike (15 mins). TOTAL 2.5 Hours. Didn't sweat much except for the 10 mins on the treadmill. I do feel quite sore. Also, felt very tired and legs were dragging in the zumba class unlike times before. I felt sad that I had come so far and now have to start back from square one. I almost wanted to stop in 30 mins, but managed to get through the whole class. Also, instead of doing all the lower body strength training, I just wanted to go home but managed to force myself to do the 30 mins of additional cardio.Need to push myself harder tomorrow.

Detox must be in progress as I'm feeling tired so soon...and the lack of incoming carbs must be tiring the body. Hoping the added proteins will kick in and strengthen and help quick recovery. Cravings are under control so far. Did break it to my NYC friends that I won't be able to indulge in any food and drinks when I visit there this weekend---they were utterly disappointed! I just have to be strong about my resolution!!!
