My reasons for wanting to lose weight: 1. To be healthy (I am scared of getting too sick to live a normal life) 2. To be alive a long time so that I can spend a long time with Henry and my kids 3. To feel better about myself 4. To be able to shop in the "normal" size clothes section
What would be different if I lost the weight: I would be more active with the kids outside. I would have more confidence in myself and probably be more outgoing. I would feel good about wearing "cute" clothes. I would feel a big sense of accomplishment that I had achieved the weight loss and I would want to help others achieve their goals. I would feel good that I was a good example to my kids.
I didn't make my goal of losing 1 pound this week but I know that I have given my all this week so I am not going to let it get to me. I realize that the scale is only a part of the journey. I did more exercise this week than I have done in a long time and I feel pretty good about my food choices this week! I am going to continue to move forward and not let it get me down! On to a new week!
