Doing OK. I am following a low-calorie diet. I have been busy lately. I will be self-publishing my first book, "Beyond the Wilderness" in the next few months. It is in the process now. It is historical fiction. The weather is cold, so I am not out exercising. In the spring when it is not allergy season I hope to get out and start walking around much, much more than I am doing now. I hope to start swimming soon again too at the gym. Maybe tonight. I am losing as I have cut my calories back dramatically - and late night snacking has stopped. I go to bed a bit hungry maybe, but I sleep better, I do not oversleep very often, and I feel better when I get up too. I have stopped snacking between meals with large amounts of junk food too.

Great plan and it seems to be positive.

Doing OK. Very, very cold here. Below zero Fahrenheit, so I will stay in today. I will be glad in a few months when the cold is over. I went over to my deceased friend's place and I got a few things from there. I gave his sister $35 - but I got hundreds of dollars worth of stuff. The crucifix alone was worth more than that (I am Catholic) and they are very hard to find too, and very expensive. I have a cross on my wall, a Protestant one with words on it. I got knick knacks too and a very expensive old-fashioned electric Christmas tree they let me have. Lots of stuff. Dieting is going well. Tomorrow evening I will probably go to the movies as it is senior night for my friend Stacia and I can get a veteran's discount. I saw "The Revenant" the other night, one of the best movies I've ever seen. I also saw the Chris Pine, Casey Affleck, Eric Bana seafaring movie a few weeks ago and it was OK. I will see "Deadpool" - Stacia's son said it was excellent - it is a superhero movie. He went back to see it a second time. I also want to see the animated Panda movie. My dad won't see the cartoon movies. My book writing is going well. My first novel should be out in about six weeks. By summer a second novel, by this time next year a third novel, probably - all are lengthy books. Historical fiction - two - and one long western.
