Hasn't been a great fasting day. I have been really hungry, think it is the cold, so ended up consuming 1200 calories. However, my ex-manager just phoned and invited me out for a couple of pints. First time we have met up since before Christmas. I'll be lucky if I get away with less than 1900 for today. That's calories, not pints!

Thanks, I will come in and go straight to bed. No need to go near the fridge!

Ended up with 3 pints and an 18 year old Laphroaig (the only chance I have of an 18 years old on a night out, these days). Straight to bed with not even a grape.
