I think that is exactly what happened!!!!
Am I a little mad at myself for letting it happen? YES!!!
I am going to be 50 in a couple of month time and I promised myself that I will be a fit 50. I am not that far off, BUT I can do better!!
I have been kidding myself that 1 long run a week is plenty. It ain't.
All these other muscles need work too!
I still eat very healthy, BUT way,way,way too much!!! Too many nuts, nicecream, oatcakes, vego bars....and probably too many medicinal glasses of wine.
And what brought this on? Hehe...a new bra! Fits perfect but when I lowered my arms.....There was a dreaded roll over the top of it :S yes not underneath but over the top.
So last night I got my kettlebells out, found some tunes and set the tabata timer for 2 10minutes workouts. Doesn't sound a lot. But its HIIT at its best. Felt sweaty and accomplished after. Now if I could sleep, I be golden. Hoo Hum...can't have it all :)
