Thanks for sharing those articles! I'm in the same boat you are. I also am prediabetic. It wasn't until my older brother was diagnosed with type II diabetes a few weeks ago that I admitted I had to change. It's good to know research backs the low carb lifestyle. I really didn't know what to try. There are so many conflicting ideas about the proper course of action. It's true that how we think makes a difference. Just remembering how important my health is keeps me out of the chocolate :)

this LCHF has just within a month brought down my diabetes. I was up to 20.5..that made a vegetarian out of me then one thing lead to another till i am here....LCHF is the one i like best and it worked for me...now 7.1 almost perfect. just one month.
