Transformation Butterfly's Journal, 07 February 2016

I am getting back into the flow of traffic today. I am so grateful to be out of the month of January and looking forward to the remainder of 2016 working my butt off (Physical joke). Temperture this morning was 54, but I got up put on my workout clothing and a warm jacket and headed out to walk on the community treadmill. I spent 47 minutes walking the Jillian Michael weight loss program for a total calorie burn of 385 and came back and did nothing but household chores which means I kept the sweat coming.

This is the heaviest weight I have ever been and it disturbs me that I have reached this weight. In two days I begin my normal fasting for the season of lent. So my kitchen is completely vegan. This year my goal for lent will be early morning exercising, meditation and affirmation and ending my daily fast with prayers and more meditations.

February is short month and I am intending to make everyday count and turn the scale readings around and in doing so bring me back to my positive outlook. I have been silent on the website for a couple of weeks as I was dealing with a stressful issue at work, which sent me into eating binges at the end of the day. I realize the only thing I accomplished was to add extra weight that I will now have to loose. I am an emotional eater as well as a chocoholic. So I have taken to avoiding any stores promoting Valentine's day. Don't get me wrong I love all of the sentimental decorations, Teddy bears and the such, but February is the worst month for a chocoholic as every kind of chocolate comes out for consumer consumption.

I am currently opting to purchase a bottle of water every time I am threatened to consume a piece of chocolate.

I also started playing the "Overcomer" song by Mandisa every morning as my fight song for the day. Mandisa has overcome her weight issues and much more.

I want to hear your fight song and what you do to stay motivated to work out daily.
