ok.......... well. haven't lost a Flippin pound in days.... so looking around on dietdoctor and I read that even if cheese says 0 carbs.. lactose turns into sugar... why I forgot this simple fact?? I dunno... so cutting dairy the hell out .. I had a coffee with cream and dumped it in the sink right after I read that ... now drinking black coffee and will continue to do so any time I have some . no more cheese and cream. it said butter is still ok... any other thoughts or tips for LCHF that I may have over looked?

I could not stomach black coffee. Didn't you use heavy cream for your coffee already? That is what is recommended since it contains way less lactose than regular milk.Same with cheese. The higher in fat, the less lactose and therefore the carbs. I could not imagine my life without cheese :-)// Well, if it helps you to get rid of the stagnation -go for it!

I did not think of this, either. It looks like I need to make some changes too.

Did I already mention to you coconut oil in your coffee? Also, I know even when I stay in my calorie range and percentages I have to watch my cheese too. Good grief, so much to look at. Have you tried intermittent fasting? Sorry if I've asked before.....

I'll drink black coffee if I have too.. hell I'll get rid of coffee all together if I must..... ya heavy cream, cheese with no carbs... but I'm grasping at straws ... I already do intermediate fasting. keep carbs under 20g... not just net carbs.. BUT the meats I've had I guess are not clean meats ... and I should add more coconut oil.. rckc, I think you did tell me that.. I was doing butter wich I guess was the right rout. I saw on diet dr that butter and coconut oil in your coffee at the same time is the way to go... so ill be doing that. oh and rckc.. I know you support a lot of people on here, I follow a lot too... it's hard to remember everything, don't sweat it :D

Cream is OK, not milk though - IMO

Blend the oil really well (I use my bullet). I wasn't able to stomach butter and oil, made me feel kinda sick but it also saves on my calories...I use torani sugar free syrup for flavoring. AND I think your diet calendar looks really good, I've been lax lately!

I am going to a doctor - the bottom line is less calories in more calories out. All the rest is dressing. Just count the calories and forget about the other stuff. I can not tell you how much a doctor who know about weight loss and control has helped me. The first time I went to her I went from 230 lbs. to 180 lbs. then I stopped going. Eventually over the years I lost focus and went back up to 200, now I am back with her and losing again.

Ya I don't use milk .. even half and half . well I'm not actually eating in the am but I drink a pot of coffee it only a 4 cup pot. so if I do both it won't be too bad. .... thanks about the diet calendar... I just know there's more I can do... Gotta pin point it though... .... also my calories to maintain ate 2123... to lose weight 1698... to lose weight fast Is 1274. I've been keeping mine under 1350. so ya I guess I could lower that by 76 calories as well.

I think the cream is good for your fat - it is cheese and yogurt that will derail me over time. I use almond milk in everything.

Have you looked up Bulletproof Coffee? That is great stuff and it becomes breakfast for me.

Coffee is caffeine. caffeine helps burn fat, put virgin unrefined coconut oil..in your coffee ,and or butter in your coffee will flavor it and give you your GOOD fats you need to lose weight. Research it. It aids in fat loss,no joke! I promise this is not some sick twisted game I'm playing with you just to see what kind of nasty stuff I can get you to try and drink lol... I do this myself when I'm not drinking my water.
