This is the best way i have even been on losing weight.....this is a change of my eating habits. LCHF i read most of the comments every day and i am still amazed that so many are still confuse about this LCHf thing....This is a very simple way to eat.....why are so many people struggling on this....find some one on this web site and follow what they are doing. there is many kinds of diets here...just pick up on someone that is doing the one you like and if they are successful follow them.. I chose 2 people to be my hero's and i follow them like a little spy...i read there writes up and there food logs and keep checking why it works for them....I read every thing about this web site all the time....and i weigh every day....cause i lose every day....first time in my life with out hunger and losing weight. This is not rocket science. do what a successful person does and you will achieve what they have achieved...Simple here it is in a nut shell. FAT up to 80 grams per day. Fat is your food of choice. Protein max maybe 20 grams per day to fight off and preserve mussel loss. CARBOHYDRATES is why we are fat and have weight gain. That's your enemy....I was some one that was a know it all....thought i knew every about diets..(aknowitall)..well you don't know what you don't know....remember that. so be flexible and keep an open mind about LCHF
things. I am glad I did.

there are wonderful facebook groups for lchf and ketogenic. Great bunch of people full of knowledge and support. My favorite is facelift Friday when they post before and after pics. Sure helps keep you motivated and on track.

I love love love LCHF and when asked, I have no problem letting people know what has worked for me BUT I also understand it is not for everyone. Having tried just about every "plan" out there I can truly say the one that will work is the one you can live with for a long period of time. I have lost probably thousands of pounds in my lifetime. Lots of things have worked in the short term. For me, it's not just is it working but also, how is my quality of life, am I fighting with myself every day to "work" the plan, am I miserable unhappy cranky hungry? I have a friend who has been in Weight Watchers for years, at goal weight, and she loves it. She found HER happy place, wasn't for me. Another did Jenny Craig and has kept the weight off, happy for her, wasn't for me. Low cal diet, REALLY wasn't for me. So, I guess my point is if someone asks me what I have done to lose the weight, I tell them. If they want to try it I point them to lots of sites online and tell them to research LCHF and give it a try if they think it's for them. I think it's important to "be flexible and keep an open mind about" everyone's plan, period!
