Toni Bourlon's Journal, 04 February 2016

So honestly haven't been doing too well with the diet - we celebrated my hubby's birthday last Sunday at Red Lobster, then last night & the night before went to Fazoli's for dinner. I LUV Italian food, but it makes me feel sluggish & doesn't help with the weight at all. Needless to say, I'm up a bit:(

But today I did something a little different - a Professor at the University I work at has started a short Tai Chi class, once a week for 30 minutes. The idea is to help us just stretch out and relax a bit. I've taken a few Tai Chi classes before, and really enjoyed it! So tonight I'll try to get in my run - still hoping to lose 5 lbs in February & be able to run a full mile (non-stop) in March. Dinner will be lite tonight; probably some baked fish & veggies, then starting tomorrow I'm going to dive into the Stop & Drop diet book I bought, give that one a try (or at least look for some ideas!).

Cheating is OK, but needs to follow with some discipline, and you will feel better about it. Keep up the exercise, and don't expect too much too fast. It's always fluctuating on that scale up and down. It's All Good!!!!
