Missychick21's Journal, 07 September 2011

Just got back from picking my daughter up from head-start and go figure she didn't even want to leave school. So for better transition I guess Monday she will start riding the bus. I will have to figure out another good time to do a daily walk with the kids while it is still warm enough. When it gets really cold I won't want to be taking them out walking getting them sick. Maybe shortly after dinner... Maybe dinner will need to start being closer to 4 than 5 since bedtime is needing to be pretty early so she's not really tired all day. It's something we all have to get used to, all the changes that come with school...

Missy, the school transition is a hard one - we are still working on it with my niece as she just started back last week. Once you get a groove its not horrible. I am glad your little one seems to be enjoying school, it must make it a bit easier on you knowing she is OK! Maybe you could take the kids for a walk before dinner or right after school?

Pixi- It's still pretty hot here during the day, mid-90's today that's why I thought after might be better so it's not so hot :) Buffy- I am so proud, my little girl is growing up right before my eyes. Her brother isn't too far behind, I do have 3 years 3 months between them but I know from lots of experience that time flies by pretty fast. The main thing I really need to do I guess is a lot better planning. Meals and stuff like that have been a little spontaneous the past few days and I haven't got my veggies in barely at all... On a positive not I have finally hit the 10 pounds lost mark, as long as it stays down of course. 2 pounds left and I will be at 199 which is my first mini-goal (I want to be UNDER 200) Lots of new things and new journeys as a friend put it, but I know that I can do it as long as I am persistent and never give up :)

Missy - Look at you! With all this stress going on you just lost your first 10 and are almost into Onderland! Pat yourself on the back - you deserve it!
