OK, day one of no bars. I would rather eat my finger then a bar right now after all the havoc they have been reeking. So far no wind but its still early hehe.. sorry for all the fart jokes, if I dont make fun of myself on this one, Ill cry LOL.. Im outta cream for coffee but imma send dh to the store bc I dont even want to think about any atkins products right now. Taking it back to basics today and eating clean.
Moving forward, my back was killing me last night and DH insisted that I was over doing it at the gym and thankfully I was right bc I woke up just fine today. I was worried he was right, so as precaution, today is a cardio only day. 45-1h on the treadmill. Im usually off Wednesdays and for the most part always do cardio anyway so the only difference is its will be after work since Im covering for someone today.

Great job on getting off of the bars. The sugar alcohols in them can really mess with your GI system.

The products that Atkins sells is one of the many reasons I disassociated from them.

For the month of Jan I have sworn off all carbs,, except for 2 Glasses of merlot on my BD,, I haven't had a carb 1.. and I can honestly say I have no cravings at all . I honestly will probably continue right into Feb,, No problems .

I did a cardio day on Monday since I was sore from Friday and Sunday...yup, processed stuff of any kind will do it to most of us. You also may want to see if dairy does it...

They are definitely "fart bars" for me too! I rarely eat one, keep one in my purse for emergencies, they are better than fast food if I find myself in an unplanned situation.

Aftr a lot of ups and down, I've come to conclusion that eating clean is the only way to progressively lose weight. That and lots of water.

Thank goodness those "candy" bars are off your diet! Processed crap, and they're too easy to reach for. I'm sure that your DH appreciates it!

There is a line in recent video I watched where the guy was talking about eating clean vs. non-clean and he dead panned into the camera, 'There is no Triscuit bush' which really solidified my commitment to eat clean. The worst I have right now are the low-carb mission wraps but I believe those are coming to an end shortly, and will be used for those few times I really want a pizza but I really want MORE to not carb up. B-Day is next week and THERE WILL PIZZA!

you can have pizza. Make the crust with eggs and shredded cheese. go to dietdoctor.com for recipes. also have tortillas made from cauliflower.

you have lost a lot of pounds and to each their own, but if you are doing Atkins, you said you was eating bananas???? No fruit is allowed except berries. and bananas would be a no no on any diet because they are actually a starch, like potatoes or corn. This is just what I read in the Atkins plan.
